Destination Personality experiments
We refer to the personality of a destination as a set of human characteristics associated with that place.
Destination Personality is part of the Brand Identity of a location, turning into an important communication factor by which we can build a strong image of the destination in customers’ minds.
MySmark recently ran a series of pilot projects in Italy and Ireland, measuring the personality of several popular spots in the cities of Bergamo, Dublin and Venice.
Visitors were asked to fill in a digital questionnaire assessing their perception of the place, their personality and their socio-demographic information.
